The monthly #AussieArtMusic playlist (Classical, Jazz, Electronic), is curated by me, published by Limelight and featuring artwork by Ghost Town Goldie! The playlist celebrates the diversity of Australian made Classical, Jazz, Experimental and Electronic music made by living composers.
While streaming is a great way to discover new music, purchasing music is far better way to support the musicians you love. I’m also using MerchTable by Hype Machine to direct people to each track’s Bandcamp page (where possible).
I often talk about composers on these playlists, but I want to acknowledge the important roles performers have in interpreting, programming, commissioning and champion new Australian art music.
